Don't waste time trying to decipher all the nonsense. As long as I this is the right length for your needs, buy it. I've been buying cables for audio/video for years, read scads of reviews, and it is just nonsense what other manufacturers claim and charge. This is a great product, well made and very inexpensive.
It's digital, either it works or it doesn't, and this works. Title says it all. You can spend anywhere from $3.00 to $50.00 on a cable that does the same thing.
Nice price, too. No difference whatsoever, especially if you only have one coax & one optical on your stereo receiver. Highly Recommended. Nice sound reproduction. Was kind of concerned about the conflict between optical vs digital coaxial.
The only problem I have with the cable is inconsequential; the yellow label surrounding the connector was peeling away as soon as I took it out of the package.Overall, you can't go wrong with this price and you won't find cables this cheap at your local retailer. It works just like my higher-priced cables and the fittings are of good quality. Once again, the reassuring thing about digital connections is the fact there is no signal variability, no matter how much (or little) you spend on cables. This cable is more than enough to accomplish the mission.
Cable works great, arrived promptly, and was cost effective. nice to buy things from GE, an american company.
